Simple way of stoping data draining on window 7, 8, 8.1 and 10

window data

ARE YOU A VICTIM OF PC DATA DRAINING?

HERE IS WHAT TO DO.

If you have been using Microsoft windows 8, 8.1 or Windows 10,
you might have experienced this heartbreaking data draining
which might chop your 10gb within just few hours if you have
strong internet connection.
This particular thing has made many people tag win 8 and 10 as
"SHIT" , Many downgraded from win10 back to win7, some
winXP , some said win10 doesn't make sense and so on, but
we all know their problem, it's either they don't know how to use it, or they are trying to install outdated software and it didn't install (compatibility issue), or this data draining issue, but everything get solution , yeah yes.

HOW TO STOP DATA DRAINING ON WIN 7, 8, 8.1 AND 10

On the above mentioned windows versions, there are 2 things
which that do drain your data which is Windows update and
background intelligence transfer service, don't worry, we will off
that switch right now.

TURN OF WINDOWS UPDATE

No need to explain what windows update is, from the name, you
should be able to grab what it's all about.

Open task manager by right clicking on the windows start
icon the task bar, then select TASK MANAGER on the menu
displayed.

If it's the first time of opening task manager on that pc, you
will need to click MORE DETAILS at the bottom of the TASK
MANAGER small windows that displays, otherwise, no need for
this

Click on SERVICES, you will see it on the TASK MANAGER
navigation menu

Click OPEN SERVICES, it's at the bottom.
On the pop-up menu, scroll down until you see WINDOWS
UPDATE, double click it

Click on STARTUP TYPE: set it to DISABLED, click STOP, and
then click OK.
That's how to stop windows update.

HOW TO STOP BACKGROUND INTELLIGENCE TRANSFER SERVICE

Background intelligence transfer service allows softwares to be
accessing the internet even when you are not using them, just
follow same step above to turn it off.

And please note, this will only work if your windows has not
started downloading updates already, if it has started, it will not
work, because it will start downloading updates when ever you restart your PC. Your next option is to disable it through regedit (registry) or you turn on battery saver.
Search Google for the registry tutorial.

But if data is not your problem, it's very good to download
updates.
